SB81 Hydraulic Breaker

The SB81 is the flagship of the SB series — an extra-heavy hydraulic breaker engineered for the most demanding breaking applications in quarrying, mining, and major infrastructure demolition. With 2000–3000 J of impact energy and a 130mm chisel diameter, the SB81 represents the upper limit of performance achievable with 20–35 ton carrier excavators.

Designed for high-production environments where downtime is costly and performance is non-negotiable, the SB81 features heavy-duty construction throughout — from the reinforced housing and oversized tie rods to the large-diameter piston and high-capacity accumulator. The hydraulic circuit is designed to handle the 150–200 L/min flow requirement at 160–200 bar, demanding a properly configured and maintained carrier hydraulic system.

The SB81's 1100–1400 kg operating weight provides exceptional ground reaction mass, enabling efficient energy transfer even in the hardest granite and basalt formations. The lower impact frequency (350–550 bpm) is characteristic of extra-heavy breakers — each blow delivers maximum energy for deep penetration rather than rapid surface chipping.

In quarry applications, the SB81 is typically used for secondary breaking of blasted rock, reducing oversize boulders to crusher feed size. In mining, it is used for both secondary breaking and scaling operations. In demolition, the SB81 can tackle reinforced concrete structures of virtually any thickness.
