Indeco Hydraulic Breakers
Indeco S.p.A.
Italian precision manufacturing — robust breakers for European construction
Overview
Indeco S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of hydraulic breakers and attachments, founded in 1976. The company is one of Italy's leading attachment manufacturers and has built a strong reputation across Europe for robust, reliable breakers suited to construction and demolition applications. Indeco products are distributed in over 60 countries.
History
Indeco was founded in 1976 in Cava de' Tirreni, near Salerno in southern Italy. The company began manufacturing hydraulic breakers as the Italian construction industry mechanized rapidly during the late 1970s and 1980s.
Through the 1990s, Indeco expanded its product range and built a European distribution network. The company invested in modern CNC manufacturing equipment and quality control systems, establishing a reputation for precision Italian manufacturing.
Today, Indeco manufactures a full range of hydraulic breakers from mini to heavy class, along with other attachments including pulverizers and compactors. The company exports to over 60 countries and is particularly strong in Southern and Central Europe.
Key Technologies
Monoblock Body Design
Indeco breakers use a monoblock body design where the cylinder and outer housing are machined from a single steel billet. This eliminates potential leak points between separate components and provides a more rigid, durable structure compared to multi-piece designs.
Hydraulic Auto-Stroke
Indeco's hydraulic auto-stroke system automatically adjusts the piston stroke based on material resistance. In hard rock, the system uses a longer stroke for maximum energy. In softer materials, it switches to a shorter, faster stroke. This optimization improves productivity and reduces fuel consumption.
Dust Protection System
Indeco breakers incorporate a positive-pressure dust protection system that uses compressed air or nitrogen to prevent dust and debris from entering the front head bushing area. This is particularly important in dusty demolition and quarry environments where abrasive dust accelerates bushing wear.
